Locking Systems & Security Cylinders

When securing a building with mechanical locking cylinders, there are generally two system types:
Either all doors are configured to be keyed alike – meaning one key opens all doors – or the system is structured hierarchically, so that some keys open more doors than others.

System Structure

Hierarchically organized master key systems can be designed in various ways.
The most well-known configuration is the General Master Key System, where:

  • Onemaster key opens all doors
  • Group keysopen selected areas
  • Individual keysopen only a single door

This classic system is commonly used in commercial buildings and institutions, where each keyholder has access only to predefined zones – and access can only be extended with a new key assignment.

Whatever your requirements may be, BEWENG Security can meet them with:

  • A broad product range
  • High flexibility
  • Decades of industry experience

Whether it’s a multi-family building, a large complex with varied access permissions, or even a correctional facility – when your priorities are security, cost-efficiency, and quality, BEWENG is your trusted partner.
All our locking systems are patent-protected and comply with the highest DIN/EN standards.

Construction and Function
